Abstract
Using angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy a d like surface state and surface resonance band have been observed at the M symmetry point of the surface Brillouin zone of Ag(100), which at M are located respectively 50 meV above and 70 meV below the bulk d band edge. Their dispersion is in qualitative agreement with recent self-consistent calculations 211 up arrow 241.Keywords
