Abstract
A model of defensive behaviour by an individual honeybee (Apis mellifera) is presented. The behavioural sequence involves four basic steps: alerting, activating, attracting and culminating. The model accommodates both genetic and environmental variation. This publication has 19 references indexed in Scilit:
