Abstract
Overall 2-year actuarial survival rates were 77 and 81 per cent in a high and a low dose rate group, respectively. In the high dose rate group 60 patients were controlled, 8 developed rectal bleeding, and 7 recurred. In the low dose rate group 54 were controlled, one developed rectal bleeding, and 9 recurred. Optimum TDF was 125 in both groups. Keywords
