Six short children who were short at birth had minute nails on one or more of the small toes bilaterally. Additional features which were less consistently present included mild intellectual impairment, broad noses and wide mouths, shortness of the middle phalanges of the fifth fingers, and fusion of the middle and distal phalanges of the fifth toes.
