Abstract
Various vasoactive agents were injected into the carotid artery of the rabbit in amounts with and without effect upon systemic arterial pressure while recording the pressure in the ipsilateral marginal ear vein. Levarterenol produced an evanescent small fall in pressure followed by a more prolonged rise above the control value. Methacholine produced only a rise in pressure. Keywords
