Abstract
The performance characteristics of the first ion-selective electrode specifically designed for the quantitation of an organic cation are described. The liquid membrane electrode exhibits rapid and near Nernstian response to acetylcholine ion activity from 10−1 to 10−5 M. High selectivity over Na+, K+ and NH4 + is observed. Keywords
