An Automation System for Insectaries

Abstract
An apparatus is described for the automatic control and coordination of numerous pieces of electrically driven equipment which govern or affect temperature, humidity, lighting, air movement and other environmental conditions in a single integrated 24 hour schedule. This device, in addition to turning equipment on and off after varying intervals of time, also dims and brightens lights to the lower and upper limits of their capacities on regularly scheduled bases. Accompanying the description of the apparatus are photographs and diagrams illustrating its construction. The apparatus is not commercially available.
