Abstract
A measurement of the far-infrared surface resistance for La-Sr-Cu oxide both above and below the superconducting transition temperature has been used to obtain the frequency dependence of (ω)F(ω) in the superconducting state. The dominant feature in the spectrum is a single elastic or quasielastic peak near the gap energy.
