Abstract
Stimulated emission has been observed on the 417.2‐nm line of neutral atomic gallium by photodissociation of gallium iodide molecules with the 193‐nm output of an ArF laser. Laser output energies of 100 μJ per pulse were obtained from the absorption of 5 mJ of ArF laser radiation.Keywords
