Abstract
Angular distributions of the differential cross section for the () and () reactions on the five stable Zn isotopes, , were obtained using 17.5-MeV protons. Between 9 and 15 deuteron groups were investigated for each isotope. Pickup of neutrons from the , , , and subshells indicates considerable configuration mixing in the ground-state wave functions of the target nuclei. Several cases of " dependence" were observed. Distorted-wave Born approximation calculations were carried out and spectroscopic factors and occupation numbers are presented.
