Abstract
Chromatography of sera from non-treated ragweed-sensitive persons on DEAE-cellulose permitted the separation of the bulk of the hemagglutinat-ing antibodies from the bulk of the skin sensitizing antibodies. The latter fractions also retained some hemagglutinating activity. After concentrations beyond the level of the original serum, the hemagglutinating fraction also showed blocking activity in passive transfer. Keywords
