Abstract
Chromosomes were studied, and the sporophytic numbers were obtained for 39 species, varieties, or unidentified plants of the genus Haworthia (Family Liliaceae, Tribe Aloineae). Twenty-nine plants are diploids, 1 is a triploid, 5 are tetraploids, 2 are pentaploids, and 2 are hexaploids. Thirteen of the determinations are new for species, 5 are new for varieties of species in which another variety had previously been counted, and 1 is new for a subvariety; 5 new or unidentified species and 3 unidentified varieties have been studied. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
