Charge-Exchange Scattering of Low-EnergyKMesons in Hydrogen

Abstract
The momentum dependence of the cross section for the reaction K+pK¯0+n has been determined. The data are analyzed in terms of an effective-range approximation to the Kp phase shifts. A comparison is made to other studies of low-energy Kp interactions, and the data are used to infer the existence of a K¯N S-wave bound state.
