Abstract
A simple liquid medium for the cultivation of Leishmania is described. L. brasiliensis and L. peruviana cultured in this medium reached cell densities > 107 promastigotes per ml within 7 days. This medium compares very favorably with the more complex media used to cultivate Leishmania spp. and other hemoflagellates. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
