Abstract
Presentation of Case First admission. A 54-year-old man was admitted to the hospital because of a left-sided headache.He was well until 18 years earlier, when a routine x-ray film of the chest revealed an infiltrate. A tuberculin skin test was positive, and a culture of a gastric aspirate yielded mycobacteria. Evidence of active pulmonary tuberculosis was also found in the patient's wife, and chemotherapy was administered to both of them.
