Abstract
Increasing the concn. of administered soln. results in an increase in the amt. of glucose absorbed. Glucose solns. of 75% concn. were absorbed more readily by mice of the C57 strain than by those of the A strain. Admn. of 25% glucose solns. leads to some diminution of the phosphatase activity of the small intestine detd. both chemically and cytochemically. Keywords
