Abstract
The possibility of a new theoretical approach to strong electron correlation in solids is shown by applying it to the lowest-order calculation of hopping energy of the single hole doped into the Mott-Hubbard insulator, with the result that the hopping is appreciable even in the antiferromagnetic state if zero-point spin wave fluctuations are taken into consideration. Keywords
