Abstract
Arguments for the existence of exchange moments in these nuclei depend on an accurate evaluation of the spin and orbital contributions to the moments. Assumptions made in previous evaluations are re-examined. Although the results do not establish the existence of the exchange moment conclusively, arguments are presented which make the alternative appear to be less reasonable. Methods for obtaining further information on this question are discussed. Keywords
