Teen-agers and young adults are beginning to use the dangerous belladonna alkaloids to make chemical "trips," as illustrated here by three cases. The diagnosis should be strongly considered in the younger patient with delirium. In view of their great toxic potential all belladonna alkaloids should be controlled by prescription.
