Magnetic Equation of State for Nickel Near Its Curie Point

Abstract
The magnetization-field-temperature (σHT) behavior of nickel both above and below its Curie point Tc is found to obey an equation of state in which σ|1TTc|β is uniquely related to H|1TTc|β+γ, where β and γ are the critical exponents for the temperature dependence of the spontaneous moment and initial susceptibility, respectively.
