Abstract
The arterial vessels in the human mandible were studied. The arterial vessels of the condyloid process belong to the arteriole type and come from the vascular system of the temporal mandibular joint in the capsule, and from the external pterigoid muscle; the angle of the mandible is supplied by vessels coming from the inferior dental artery and from the muscles attached to it; the inferior border of the mandible receives its largest supply from the inferior dental artery. The disposition and characteristics of the capillary vessels in the different areas of the mandible were also studied. Special emphasis was placed on the study of the venous vascular arrangement in the interalveolar walls.
