INHIBITION OF SELENIUM INJURY TO WHEAT PLANTS BY SULFUR

Abstract

The toxicity of selenium is inversely proportional to the supply of sulphur in the soil solution. A large supply of S permits the wheat plants to develop normally. In water cultures, no injury was visible when the ratio of Se to S was 1-12 or less.
