Abstract

THIS paper will attempt to describe the process of the transformation of human experience into that which is known as psychotic. It will treat this transformation from the point of view of the individual in whom it is occurring. Thus it is an empirical study in the alteration of the content of human consciousness; it is a descriptive work in this sense. Methodology The study of consciousness is frustrating. Though we utilize each day a basic faith that our experience is closely akin to that of our fellows, it is categorical that we can never demonstrate scientifically that we are in fact observing another's conscious experience.
