Abstract
The implications of isotopic-spin conservation for fast strange-particle reactions, especially the production processes as well as the -particle interactions with nuclei, have been investigated. The possibility of distinguishing the Gell-Mann, Pais, and Salam-Polkinghorne theories of strange particles is also discussed.
