Coenzyme Q Concentration in Proliferative Lesions of Liver.

Abstract
Quantitative studies of normal and regenerating liver have shown that high concentrations of coenzyme Q are maintained during the proliferative process and indicate that a lack of coenzyme is not responsible for the low succinate-INT reductase activity observed during regeneration. In contrast, a low coenzyme Q concentration in the Morris hepatoma and the Novikoff hepatoma appears to play an important role in the low reductase activities observed in these 2 neoplasms.
