Abstract
The stacking-fault energy for magnesium has been recalculated using a slightly more rigorously derived equation. The value obtained, 102±25 ergs/cm2, is less than the value of 125±25 ergs/cm2 quoted by Hales, Smallman and Dobson (1968).Keywords
