Abstract
(i) Stilbestrol (10 or 20 ppm) increasedcellulose digestion by ovine rumen microorganisms invitro and in vivo but could not be tolerated by wethersat these high levels. (ii) Cholesterol and estrone increased cellulose digestion by rumen microorganismsin vitro (8).Keywords
