Abstract
Isolated pea roots growing in vitro in a nutrient soln. to which vitamin B1 and nicotinic acid were added, produce auxin. The roots were subcultured for 34 weeks (weekly transfers) and at the end of this period the avg. root contained even more auxin than the average root tip from which the culture originated. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
