“GAPES,” a disease of Poultry caused by the presence of Syngamus trachealis in the windpipe, is a common disease in the Aberystwyth area, and is generally known among the Welsh farmers and poultrykeepers as “Clefyd-y-big” (the disease of the beak).Keywords
