Abstract
Catheters for cardiovascular and other angiographic investigations can be resterilized by ethylene oxide. The procedure of sterilization has to be controlled permanently. Reapplicability of catheters had become quite common because of the high price of new catheters. In spite of optimal resterilization and permanent control, some patients still get fever attacks, because endotoxins cannot be eliminated by this method.
