η→3πdecays and theρηπcoupling constant

Abstract
An approach to the η3π decays based on ηπ0 mixing and resonant final-state interactions is presented. It successfully accounts for the experimental data and circumvents the difficulties of the traditional (current-algebra) approach. The value for the G-parity-violating coupling constant |gρηπ|=0.067±0.013 is deduced from the data.
