Abstract
A method of selective adrenal angiography is described which utilizes the direct catheterization of small aortic branches as well as the pharmacologic unresponsiveness of the adrenal gland to epinephrine. Among 14 patients studied, this method was useful in diagnosing adrenal hyperplasia and adrenal adenomas, in localizing pheochromocytomas, in demonstrating adrenal metastases, and in determining the tissue of origin and extent of suprarenal [adrenal] masses. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
