Abstract
Specimens of ectopic bone from human skin were analyzed for their mineral content and found to correspond to normal bone. Microradiographs, calcium45 studies, and autoradiographs were used to elucidate the nature of the ectopic bone. In addition, the uptake of tetracycline was demonstrated by a fluorescence technique. Keywords
