Abstract
The article reports on aspects of organizational design. The structure of industrial organization is discussed in detail. The author focuses on classifying organizations based whether they are built off of problem solving or performance models. It is suggested that theories pertaining to industrial management are often geared towards organizations which are based on performance models. Business planning is discussed in relation to the utilization of technological innovations. Methods of information and performance programming are examined. Decentralization in management is also discussed.
