Abstract
Prostaglandin E and F were measured simultaneously by radioimmunoassay in extracts of gingiva of patients with chronic periodontal disease. The mean values of PGE and PGF in 27 gingival samples were 42.2 ∓ 4.9 and 52.6 ∓ 6.8 pmol/gm wet tissue weight, respectively. The correlation coefficient (r) between the two groups of PGs was a positive 0.42, significant at P <0.05.This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
