Abstract
The equation of motion is derived for the interfaces formed in the general reaction-diffusion system which includes systems undergoing phase transformations in some strong coupling regime where the interface thickness can be regarded as small compared to other length scales in the problem. Taking into account effects of the curvature permits extensions of the theory of “interface” in one spatial dimension described in the Appendix to multi-dimensional cases. The related work of Langer and Turski is discussed in the light of the present investigation. Keywords
