Abstract
The results of calculations for the coherent scattering of $\gamma $-rays of energies 1$\cdot $28 and 2$\cdot $56 mc$^{2}$ are given in the form of scattering amplitudes as functions of angle. Cross-sections computed from these are compared with the experimental data for scattering by lead, and the evidence for Delbruck scattering is discussed.
