Abstract
Experimental problems concerned with observation of Raman scattering by polaritons are discussed. An arrangement allowing the observation of scattering processes in parallel planes is described. The method proved to be very useful in order to avoid disturbing effects owing to anisotropy. Spectra of the upper polariton region of LiIO3 are shown in order to demonstrate the arrangement. Keywords
