Abstract
A method of extending the spherical harmonics method to calculation of velocity dependent neutron transport processes is described. Application of the method is made to a variation of the Milne problem with the model of an ideal gas of unit mass for the scattering medium. The results indicate that the method can give accurate analytical expressions for the neutron density for such velocity dependent problems.Keywords
