Abstract
This paper reviews progress on tunable optical parametric oscillators. Topics considered include: parametric amplification of Gaussian beams: threshold; tuning techniques, spectral output, and stability; saturation and power output; spontaneous parametric emission; nonlinear materials; and far infrared generation.Keywords
