The Establishment of Aphidius smithi in the Eastern United States1

Abstract
The Indian pea aphid parasite, Aphidius smithi Sharma and Rao, introduced into the United States in 1958, was recovered from several localities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware in the fall of 1965. Observations in 1965 suggest this parasite may become an important parasite of pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris), in the eastern United States.
