Abstract
A comparison has been made of relaxation regions determined using a torsion pendulum and transition regions using an infrared spectrophometer of a series of epoxy-α,ω-diamine networks. This has allowed assignment of the mechanical relaxations to discrete portions of the molecular framework. It appears that the hydroxyl groups do not significantly affect the mechanical relaxations in the cross-linked network. Keywords
