Histopathology of an epidemic disease associated with jaundice, occurring in Nigeria, West Africa

Abstract

The histopathology is presented of a patient dying, in Nigeria, West Africa, of an unidentified disease associated with jaundice. The microscopic lesions were typical of those also found in the tissues of the three patients upon whom postmortem examination was made. These findings are presented with illustrations to furnish aid in the study of similar cases which may be confused with yellow fever.
