Abstract
We consider the problem of separating a number of independent and identically distributed co-channel signals in the presence of inter-user (IUI) and inter-symbol (ISI) interference. Assuming a multiple-input-multiple-output (MMO) linear channel, we provide necessary and sufficient conditions for blind recovery of all the signals. Based on these conditions, we propose optimization criteria for the development of blind adaptive multi-user (MU) algorithms. The optimality of these criteria is investigated and computer simulations are provided in support of the theoretical results. Keywords
