Abstract
The requirements of an apparatus for the study of microbial thermogenesis by decomposing plant materials are outlined. The construction and use of an adiabatic apparatus meeting most of these requirements are described. By means of a photoelectric system the temp. of the bath surrounding the fermentation vessel is controlled by the temp. of the contents, avoiding all heat loss. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
