Abstract
Of 20 rats and 24 guinea pigs injected with oestrin for 3 wks. (ave.) a large percentage showed the characteristic cellular reactions, as well as the dilatations of the glands; such specimens were very similar to those seen in human hyperplasia. In a further series the condition was produced as the result of continuous oestrus induced by partial castration. The authors have clinical evidence that such an occurrence is a factor in the production of the condition in the human. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
