Abstract
Determination of failure and recovery times from backscatter tecords at 15 mc on a 2700-km path was done with good agreement. Certain disturbed days gave anomalous scatter records. Rapid changes in these records were compared with motion of ionospheric irregularities, rates being of the same order of magnitude. This paper is essentially a condensation of National Bureau of Standards Report No. 1297, November 16, 1951.Keywords
