THE CHANGES DURING DESICCATION AND REHYDRATION IN THE BODY AND ORGANS OF THE LEOPARD FROG (RANA PIPIENS)

Abstract
40 male Rana pipiens were analyzed for organ weights and water contents. 20 were desiccated until 43% of the weight was lost, and 10 of them were rehydrated before analysis. Both the desiccated and the rehydrated frogs differed in important respects from the controls.
