Abstract
Chemotherapy for Hodgkin's disease produces ovarian failure in young women. The consequences of this are emotional distress, sexual dysfunction, and the disruption of families and friendships. These previously unappreciated side effects of cytotoxic therapy had developed in 25 of 41 patients, among whom we conducted a retrospective study. (JAMA242:1882-1884, 1979)Keywords
