Abstract
The muonic x-ray cascade in Fe has been measured with Ge detectors. The intensities of 103 x-ray lines from the , , , , and series were determined and compared with cascade calculations. The best "initial distribution" at principal quantum number does not strongly depend on the angular momentum.
